Growth Groups

Growth Groups are a great way to connect with God and the community at The Bridge beyond our weekend services. Growth Groups are also the primary means of discipleship at The Bridge. They are small groups that meet weekly for a semester.

Growth groups are great for adults and college students.

MEN’S STUDY - “Surfing for God” by Michael John Cusick

Facilitators: Luke Jorde & Ben Wutschke

    Location: The Bridge Offices

Maximum of 15 MEN + Leaders

In a world where over 70% of Christian men report viewing porn in the last year, it's no surprise that more and more men struggle with an addiction to this false fantasy. Enter COVID-19. As men have been isolated, pushed indoors, depressed, working from home, and or lonely, the opportunity and temptation has skyrocketed for many. Common wisdom says if they just had more willpower or more faith, their fight would be over. Is the answer really that simple? In "Surfing for God", group members will gain insight into how struggle with sexual sin begins, what to do to prevent it, how to combat the compulsion once it begins, and ultimately answer the question, "What are men really searching for?"

Facilitators: Laine Jorde & Kelly Wutschke

    Location: Online

We’d never intentionally write chapters of confusion, failure, loss, pain, conflict, or suffering into our stories. Yet we often find ourselves in these seasons, struggling to embrace the gospel hope we need to fill our discouraged souls. Through this study we will learn the practice of preaching gospel truth to ourselves by studying the Book of Colossians. In every changing season of life, we can rest in God’s character, rehearse our identity in Christ, respond in faith, and remember God’s provision for us.
